Staying at Elmcroft Guest House was a delightful experience. the peaceful rural location in Thornwood, just off the M11 motorway, provided a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. the spacious and traditionally furnished room with double-aspect views over the countryside was simply charming. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary newspapers and the flat-screen TV in the room. the continental breakfast offered in the charming conservatory with picturesque garden views was a perfect way to start the day. the lovely landscaped gardens in 3 acres of land, outdoor seating, and terrace allowed for relaxation and admiring the stunning countryside views. the friendly staff made us feel welcome, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat near London Stansted Airport, I highly recommend Elmcroft Guest House. the attention to detail in the room, the delicious breakfast, and the tranquil surroundings made our stay memorable. the easy access to the airport and the option for free private parking were also a plus.
